Louise Deininger is an artist from Kenya who has been living and working in London before moving to Austria. She relocated to Vienna in 2007 having also resided in Salzburg and Steiermark. She studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (Prof. Hans Scheirl).
The focus of her works consists of contextual paintings and sculptures within the framework of human development not limited to quantum physics, quantum mechanics and theoretical physics. She addresses the depiction of subjects in abstract and stylized forms.
Louise contributed the pieces „The Higgs Boson“ and „Superstring Theory Series“ which are acrylic paintings inspired by various teachings of different disciplines especially that of African Mystic and writings of Malidoma Somé whereby one has to transcend the limitations of perception to experience a deeper level of existence beyond senses, time and space.
